Payment and cancellation

Please be aware that the $499 deposit is non-refundable once payment is made. We incur significant costs for each participant, and cancellations result in substantial financial losses for us. Therefore, anyone who cancels within 10 days before the trip will be charged the full cost of the trip, which is $4,000, in addition to the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made more than 10 days before the trip will result in the loss of the deposit but no additional charges. We kindly ask that you only commit if you are serious about joining the trip. Additionally, anyone who leaves the trip early without explicit written permission from the Akiva administration before departure will be responsible for the full cost of the trip. Exceptions will be made only in serious life-or-death situations and at the sole discretion of the Akiva administration.

Trip responsibility

Akiva provides the group flight to Israel. You are responsible for getting yourself to the designated New York-area airport, at your own cost, and arriving on time.

I understand that Akiva arranges the group flight to Israel and that I am required to travel on the designated group flight on departure day. I understand that my individual airline ticket may not be provided until approximately 24 hours before departure. I am responsible for arranging and paying for my transportation to the designated New York-area airport, including travel from New Jersey, California, or any other location, and for arriving at the airport on time with all required documents.
